Emergency services at Great Bromley crash involving lorries | Gazette
Two lorries reportedly collided head-on in Frating Road, Great Bromley, at around 8am this morning.
An air ambulance was sent to assist at the scene.
It landed in a nearby field but is not believed to have been used.
The incident also impacted the nearby Pallet Plus yard which had been blocked off.
A spokesperson from East of England Ambulance Service said: “Two ambulances, an ambulance officer vehicle, three Hazardous Area Response Team vehicles and Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were called to Frating Road, Great Bromley this morning following reports of a road traffic collision.
“One man was transported to Colchester General Hospital.”
A spokesman for Essex Police added: “We were contacted by our ambulance service colleagues reporting a collision between two lorries shortly after 8.15am this morning, in Frating Road.
“One casualty was left with leg and head injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening or lifechanging.
“Officers attended to manage traffic while the vehicles were recovered.”
