Creamfields 2023: All the roads which will be closed or have …

Creamfields is set to take over the Cheshire countryside this weekend as the festival returns to the north.

While many will be getting the train in, some people may opt to travel by car after the rail union announced strike action for August 26. This will affect anyone planning to travel to the festival on Saturday by train.

The nearest train stations to the Creamfields festival[1] site in Daresbury are Runcorn station, Warrington Central, Warrington Bank Quay and Liverpool Lime Street, all of which are connected to the main line and have shuttle buses operating to and from the site all day and night.

Around the site, traffic restrictions and road closures will be in place. It’s set to be incredibly busy on the roads in the area, with Warrington Borough Council[3] warning drivers of delays.

The festival starts on Thursday, August 24 and finishes on Sunday, August 27.
