Crash on old A14 near Fenstanton sees car end up in ditch …

A driver had a lucky escape after their car left a Cambridgeshire[1] road and ended up in a ditch. Emergency services were called to the old A14 near Fenstanton on Wednesday evening (August 30).

The car had gone through trees and a fence before ending up in the ditch. No other vehicles are believed to have been involved in the incident.

A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said: “Yesterday evening our response officers attended this single vehicle collision on the old A14[2] near Fenstanton. The car left the road, ploughed through some trees, a fence and ended up nose down in a muddy ditch. Thankfully the driver was unharmed.”
