Boy, 12, knocked down on Glasgow’s Great Western Road and …

A 12-year-old boy has been rushed to hospital after he was knocked down on a Glasgow[1] road this morning.

Emergency services[2] raced to Great Western Road at around 8am today, August 17, after receiving reports of a collision[3] involving a car and a pedestrian.

A boy was taken to hospital following the incident. His condition is currently unknown.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8am on Thursday, 17 August, 2023 we received a report of a crash involving a pedestrian and a car on Great Western Road, Glasgow.

“Emergency services attended and the pedestrian, a 12-year-old boy, was taken to hospital.”
