Blagdon crash: Motorcyclist killed in collision with car on B3134
A man has died following a crash between a car and a motorbike in Somerset[1] on Tuesday evening (August 22). The incident happened on the B3134 near Blagdon with police now asking any witnesses to come forward.
The biker, aged in his 60s, was killed in the crash. His family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained police officers.
The driver of the car was treated for minor injuries. A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police[2] said: “We are appealing for the public’s help following a fatal collision near Blagdon last night (Tuesday, August 22).
“Officers were called to the B3134 following a report of a serious collision between a motorcycle and a car. Sadly, the motorcyclist, a man in his 60s, has died.
“His family have been notified and our thoughts are with them at this time. They are being offered support from a specially-trained family liaison officer.
“The driver of the car sustained minor injuries and has received treatment for these. If you were in the area at the time of the collision, or have any information or relevant footage which could aid our investigation and have yet to speak to an officer, please contact us.
