Bath traffic chaos after two-vehicle crash and drink-driving arrest

A man has been arrested for drink driving after a two-vehicle crash in Bath this morning (August 25). Avon and Somerset Police are warning drivers of “significant travel disruption” as the vehicles are recovered.

Officers were called to the collision on Green Park at 6.43am. It has since been confirmed that a man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drink driving.

Avon and Somerset Police said: “We’re at the scene of a two-car collision on Green Park, Bath at 6.43am today, Thursday 25 August. There are no reported injuries but significant travel disruption pending recovery of the vehicles. A man has been arrested at the scene on suspicion of drink driving.”
