A2 crash causes five-mile tailbacks near Bean – recap
A crash on the A2 caused five-mile tailbacks this morning (August 2). Two lanes were closed following the two-vehicle collision involving a car and a lorry on the west-bound carriageway at the Bean Interchange for the B255, Bean Lane.
Travel time was estimated at 40 minutes as a result, according to traffic monitoring site Inrix. It read on the website at the time of the incident: “Lanes one and two (of three) are closed, the slip road from the roundabout was briefly closed.
