Woman seriously injured after crash on A14 near Stowmarket

A woman remains in hospital with serious injuries after a four-vehicle crash on the A14. 

Police were called to the collision on the eastbound carriageway at about 9.50am on Friday, June 9.

Four vehicles,[1] a black Mercedes Vito, a red Land Rover Freelander, a red Ford Fiesta and a white Renault lorry, were involved. 

The driver and passenger of the Land Rover, a man and woman aged in their late 60s and early 70s, suffered serious injuries. 

The woman remains in hospital with serious injuries, and is currently receiving treatment. 

A spokesman for Suffolk police said: “Officers would like to hear from any witnesses to the collision.

“They are also asking anyone driving in the area immediately prior to the incident with a dashcam fitted in their vehicle to review the footage for any material that may be of assistance.”
