Two rushed to hospital following head on Oxfordshire crash
Two people remain seriously injured in hospital following a road traffic collision this morning (July 28). At around 1am this morning, a collision occurred on the A338, Station Road near Wantage.
The collision involved an orange BMW 1 Series and a grey Mazda 3. The road was closed for around 4 hours whilst emergency services attended the scene, according to traffic monitoring system, Inrix.
The drivers of the vehicles collided head on and have sustained serious injuries. They remain in hospital at this time.
Investigating officer, PC Jon Simpkins, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “We are investigating this collision in which both drivers have been seriously injured.
“We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident, saw either of the vehicles involved prior to the collision or anyone who may have dash-cam or CCTV footage to please come forward.
