Timeline of weekend crime wave of car raids across Cheltenham

There was a spate of car break-ins around Cheltenham[1] at the weekend. Thieves targeted cars and in some cases fled empty-handed, but in other instances got a haul of tools, cash and a laptop.

Police have once again urged people to secure their vehicles and to remove any valuables when vehicles are left unattended. Gloucestershire police[2] say people shouldn't hesitate to call the police if you witness suspicious activity and always dial 999 if you believe a crime is taking place.
