Stowmarket business site Gateway 14 wins award for deal with The …
A business park has won the award for ‘deal of the year’ after reaching agreements with a giant homeware and garden furniture retailer.
Jaynic and Gateway 14 Ltd bagged the award at The UK Property Forum’s Eastern Echo Awards for the pre-sale of a 1.17m sq ft warehouse to The Range at the Gateway 14 site in Stowmarket[1].
The Range will use the warehouse as an open distribution centre which is part of a £200m investment to help the company meet consumer demand in the South and South East.

Development director Ben Oughton said: “It is an honour to win the deal of the year award for what is the largest warehouse being developed in the region for many years.
“The whole team is working extremely hard to complete the building in the autumn for The Range.”

The site will provide a new base for manufacturing, logistics and businesses with a particular focus on innovation and sustainability.

Gateway 14 is also part of Freeport East which is one of eight Freeports in the UK.
