Single? Teesside dating ‘adventure’ for two age groups

Single? Tired of dating apps? These two speedy events could be for you.

The speed-dating nights, co-organised by super-cupid Lindsay Roberts^[1], will be held in Dovecot Bar, on Linthorpe^[2] Road, Middlesbrough^[3].

The Hartlepool^[4] mum previously held similar gigs in Norton^[5] earlier this year, with tickets flying off the shelves and selling out.

And after the success of the first do, she and her fellow organiser have sorted another.

She said: "After the massive success of our event in Norton we are hosting more events, this time for singles around the Middlesbrough^[6] area at the Dovecot Bar^[7], on Linthorpe Road, who have a perfect private room upstairs to host the event.

"The bar will be open all evening and it should be a great based on our last event. Come alone or with friends - either way everyone is in the same position and you might be surprised at how much fun you have.

"Just a four-minute chat with each other, no pressure, that just might change your situation."

Here's the details:

• The first, on Tuesday, July 11, from 7.30pm is for singles aged 35 to 50-years-old.
• The second, on Tuesday, July 18, from 7.30pm is for people aged 50+.
