A signalling fault is causing disruption on the railway.

Trains are having to run at a reduced speed to the fault between Three Bridges and Haywards Heath.

Southern Rail said trains towards Brighton[1] and the coast will be delayed.

Southern said the mainline towards Brighton, Eastbourne and Littlehampton are affected but that the Arun Valley between Three Bridges and Barnham is not affected.

A spokesman for the rail operator said: “Due to a fault with the signalling system between Three Bridges and Haywards Heath, trains are having to run at a reduced speed.
