West Yorkshire[1] Police are investigating a report of criminal damage to a vehicle at St James Wholesale Market, off Wakefield Road.

The incident occurred at around 6am on the morning of Friday, June 30.

In a video seen by the T&A, part of the incident shows a man in a high-vis jacket smashing the window of the lorry with a wooden pallet.

He hits the vehicle three times, causing cracks in the front windshield, before the driver rears away.

It is still unknown how and why the incident occurred.

Yesterday, a witness told the T&A a group of men had been seen in a heated dispute with the driver of the lorry.

He said the police arrived after the incident.
