Search for missing Surrey mum and baby as police ‘worried’

Surrey Police released an update at around 1.45am on Monday (July 3) to say they mum and baby had been found safe and well. They thanked those who shared the appeal.

Police are asking for the public’s help locating a mum and her young baby. The mum and her baby are missing from their home in Leatherhead[1].

They were last seen at Stoneleigh train station at around 9pm this evening (July 2). A Surrey Police[2] spokesperson said: “[The mum] is described as having long brown hair and was last seen wearing a brown top and black jeans.

“She is likely to be carrying her baby who may be wrapped in a blanket. We’re really worried about them and need to make sure they are ok.

“If you have any information which could help us in finding them, please contact us quoting ref 0796 of 02/07 on messenger.”
