Temporary Road Closures due to Works

Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:

Portway), Laverstock and Ford; from its roundabout junction with A345 to its roundabout junction with Ramsbury Drive to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works. Alternative route via Portway (unaffected length) - A338 -A303 - A345 and vice versa.

This Order will come into operation on August 10 and the closure will be required between 7pm and 6am until August 16. 

Lower Mooray (Part), Chilmark; from its junction with C276 for a distance of approximately 100m in an easterly direction to enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution to carry out pole and associated works. Alternative route via Lower Mooray (unaffected length) - The Street - Frog Lane - C276 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on August 9 between 9am and 4pm for one day. 

B3086 (Part), Shrewton; from its roundabout junction with A360 to its junction with B3086 at Rollestone Crossroads to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing, replacement of road markings, adjustment of ironworks and associated works. Alternative route via B3086 (unaffected length) - A360 and vice versa.

This Order will come into operation on July 31 required between the hours of 7am and 6pm until August 15.

White Way (Part), Pitton and Farley; from its junction with Above Hedges for a distance of approximately 100m in a north westerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out new service and associated works. Alternative route via White Way (unaffected length) - Pitton Road - A30 - Firs Road - C332 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on August 1 and the closure will be required for four days. 

Rectory Hill (Part), West Dean; from its property known as Bridge Cottage to its property known as Ivy Dean House to enable Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd to carry out works at Dean Station level crossing. Alternative route via Rectory Hill (unaffected length) - Dean Road - Coach Road -East Tytherley Road - East Dean Road - Rectory Hill (unaffected length) and vice versa.

This Order will come into operation on August 2 and the closure will be required between the hours of 10.30pm and 5am for one night. 

Variation of Premises Licensing

Jeni and J Retail Limited are applying for the Variation of a Premises Licence for Jeni and J's Premier 158 Wilton Road, Salisbury, SP2 7LA. The Variation, if granted, is to enable the following activities to take place:

• Adding additional hours for the sale of alcohol from 6am to 8am.
• Christmas Day and Good Friday 8am -10pm.
