Road closed following ‘serious’ one-vehicle crash with emergency …

EMERGENCY services are at the scene of a ‘serious’ one-vehicle collision as a road is expected to remain closed for some time.
The crash occurred in Foxhall Road, Steeple, near Southminster and emergency services were called shortly after 4.30pm this afternoon.
The road has been closed and Essex Police are advising drivers to avoid the area throughout the evening.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: “We are investigating the circumstances around the incident and we’re appealing for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage of the incident or the moments leading up to it to get in touch.
“You can let us know by submitting a report on our website or by using our online Live Chat service available Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) between 10am-9pm.
“Alternatively, you can call us on 101 and please cite incident 880 of July 23.”
