Recap: Pick-up truck crashes into Burslem barbershop

Emergency services descended on Burslem^[1] after a pick-up truck has ploughed into a barbershop. Photos from the scene showed a black Fiat Fullback has hit the front of Metin Barbers in High Lane just two doors down from the oatcake shop.

Police set up a cordon as officers dealt with the aftermath of the collision. It has since been confirmed that the driver was taken to hospital.

One eye-witness told StokeonTrentLive: “A fiat fullback pick up has crashed into a barbers on High Lane, There were two fire engines but there’s one left now.

“There’s a smell of gas and police are on the scene with the road closed off. No one injured as far as I’m aware.”
