‘Ram raid’ on business park as thieves use van to make off with …
Thieves fled with vapes after using a van to ‘ram raid’ a business park unit.
Police were called to Queens Meadow Business Park in Hartlepool[1] in the early hours of Tuesday morning following reports that a unit at the park had been damaged by thieves.
The incident, which happened at around 2.50am, saw thieves use a white transit style van to ‘ram raid’[2] the unit – causing damage to the shutter in order to gain access to the property before stealing a ‘quantity of vapes’.
Cleveland Police[4] officers are now appealing to anyone who might have information on those responsible for the incident or on the whereabouts of the stolen vapes.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Police are appealing after a ram raid in Hartlepool where a quantity of vapes were stolen. The incident happened around 2:50am on Tuesday, July 4 on Queens Meadow Business Park.
“A white transit style van was used to ram raid the unit, causing damage to the shutter and occupants then entered the property, stealing a quantity of vapes.
“Anyone who may have information regarding those responsible or the whereabouts of the stolen items is asked to contact Hartlepool[5] CID on the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident number 130661.
