Police seize car seen doing doughnuts on Stoke-on-Trent Tesco car …

Police have seized a car seen performing doughnuts on a supermarket car park in Stoke-on-Trent. Officers took action after witnessing the vehicle being driven in an 'anti-social manner' outside Tesco Extra, in Baths Road, Longton[1].

The seizure comes after previous complaints of boy racers using the car park to perform dangerous stunts and causing a noise nuisance.

Residents had complained of being been kept awake by blaring music and engines revving when car enthusiasts meet on Sunday evenings.

Stoke-on-Trent Police[2] shared a photo of the car on the back of a flat-bed truck on Twitter this afternoon. A force spokesman said: "Vehicle seized for driving in a anti-social manner on Tesco car park in Baths Road, Longton. The vehicle was seen dough-nutting at the location in a dangerous manner.

"Local Police Community Support Officers witnessed this and seized the vehicle under section 59."
