Plympton traffic chaos causes ‘absolute chaos’

There is ‘absolute chaos’ around Plympton this morning. There are long delays on Sandy Road and Glen Road with huge queues of traffic.
Eyewitnesses have said that traffic in the area is ‘never usually this bad’. Pictures and video show long queues of vehicles in the area.[1]
Bus services are also being affected and impacted by the delays. But it appears to just be down to the volume of traffic.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said that they had no reports of any collisions in the area.
An eyewitness though said: “Traffic is never usually this bad. I think there must have been a crash or a breakdown to cause the congestion. It's absolutely carnage.”[2]
