A driver had their vehicle seized as police caught them driving with no insurance.
Weymouth and Portland Police stopped the silver Suzuki yesterday evening (Tuesday, July 11).
They said that the vehicle was showing up on their systems as having no insurance, and officers stepped in to take it off the road.
The driver was given a traffic offence report and had their car seized as it was towed away on a recovery truck.
In a post on social media, Weymouth and Portland Police said there was 'no excuse' for not having a vehicle insured.
The force reminded other motorists to ensure all 'vehicle necessities' are up-to-date, including insurance, MOT and tax.
