Multi-vehicle crash on Glasgow M8 sparks rush-hour travel chaos

A multi-vehicle crash has sparked delays on the busy M8 this morning.

Morning rush-hour traffic is queuing on the east bound with lane closures in place following the incident on junction 22 of the popular Glasgow motorway.

Traffic Scotland^[1] confirmed two lanes are currently closed due to the emergency incident which took place at around 7.45am.

It’s not yet known whether there have been any injuries.

We have contacted Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance service for a comment.
