Mobile tyre fitter opens new shop in Stoke-on-Trent

A familiar face has laid the foundations for his tyre shop in Fenton, after providing a mobile tyre fitting service since 2021. John Newitt, from Etruria, has over 20 years experience in tyre fitting and recently decided to open a shop in Hallam Street

The 41-year-old said: “Since I opened the mobile tyre fitting business in 2021 things have been going great, so I’ve decided to open a shop in Fenton to grow the business further. I did open a shop in Parkhouse East industrial estate in Newcastle, but it didn’t do very well because I didn’t have the passing trade.

“Where I am in Hallam Street, people can see me so it’s an ideal location. I’ve been fitting tyres since I left school, so people are always happy with the service we provide – I hope to meet many more customers.”
