Matchday Family Fun: Coventry City – News – Exeter City FC
It’s a long time since we last had a dress rehearsal at SJP for the start of season! This will give all the support staff an opportunity to ensure, like the team, we are best prepared for the 23/24 season
We will have a NEW service for our First Time Visitors! But it won’t be available for Coventry as we need to test to make sure it works!
Starting at the Blackpool game we will be introducing a new mini Tour Taster. This is brief version of the FREE Stadium Tour which stats earlier on matchday mornings at 11am. A helpful walk around the stadium to familiarise you with what to do and where to go.
If Saturday is your first visit you don’t have to miss out and will be welcome to come back and join us on our maiden excursion (before Blackpool August 12). Please head for the Fan Zone Tombola Stall and register to reserve your place. The brief 1:15pm tour taster will end with a picture opportunity in the dugout and a certificate for any youngsters.
Getting to SJP on match days
(EX4 6PX – visiting fans EX4 6PU)
Getting to the stadium cannot be easier. Stagecoach buses drop off all around the Stadium: in Sidwell Street, Old Tiverton Road, York Road, Pennsylvania Road, Prince Charles Road and Blackboy Road. All less than a stone throw from the Stadium. Single fares are a maximum of £2.
Travel is, however, very disrupted by rail. On the trains there are no GWR services running. This includes the branch line to SJP. This could well make roads and local car parks very busy. Suggesting that Park and Ride/Cycle will become a popular option.
Park & Ride or Park and Cycle are available as you enter the City from Honiton Road, Matford and Sowton.CrossCountry trains are running from Coventry to St Davids. But there is a chance the 17:15 return journey might be provided in part by bus.
Buying Tickets couldn’t be easier: online at https://newtickets.ecfc.co.uk[1], by phone to 01392 411243, in person at the Club Shop or on the match day from 12 noon at the Fan Zone Ticket Booth.
