Man still in hospital after A11 Attleborough lorry crash

A man in his 60s remains in hospital after a lorry came off the road and crashed into trees on the A11.

The collision happened on Monday (July 10) at 11.21am on the southbound lane about 200 yards away from the Spooner Row slip road.

A white lorry left the road and collided with trees on the verge.[1]

The driver, a man in his 60s, was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

The road was closed in both directions for several hours following the incident and an air ambulance was also called to the scene.

An eyewitness said several trees had fallen on to the lorry and the crash barrier was also damaged, which National Highways engineers fixed later that day.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the crash or the manner of driving prior to it.

They would also like to hear from anyone with dashcam footage from the area.
