M11 closed in Essex after lorry crosses central reservation
The M11 is closed in Essex following a crash today (Saturday, July 1). Both the northbound and southbound carriageways are shut to traffic between Junction 8 and Junction 10.
Inrix, the traffic data company, said: “All traffic being temporarily held and stationary traffic due to accident, a lorry involved on M11 in both directions between J10 A505 (Duxford) and J8 A120 (Bishops Stortford).”
A National Highways spokesperson said: “The M11 is closed in both directions between J8 (Stansted Airport) and J10 (Royston) due to a collision whereby a lorry has crossed the central reservation onto the opposite carriageway.”
