Essex residents with these surnames could inherit unclaimed …

Many people across Essex are unaware they could be heirs of a massive fortune as the assets of hundreds of people who have died in England and Wales are still unclaimed. The Irish Mirror reports[1] 771 Irish-born people who have died in England or Wales have left estates that are yet to be passed on, seven of them are based in Essex.

The Government tracks whether a legitimate claimant has staked an entitlement to an inheritance when someone passes away without leaving a will. The money can end up in the Government’s funds if no claim is filed. People in the UK have 12 years or 30 years, respectively, from the date of death to file a claim for an estate if there is money involved.

Anyone who meets the criteria to inherit it is required to submit a family tree showing their relationship to the individual. The website unclaimedestates.ie aims to help rightful heirs inherit estates.

EssexLive has compiled a list of the individual’s surname, first name, date of birth, place of birth, date of death, and place of death – in that order. Surnames are listed in alphabetical order so you can scroll through to see if you could be an heir to a fortune.
