Empty industrial unit could be transformed into drinking establishment
An empty industrial building in Burton town centre could be transformed into a drinking establishment if plans are given the green light by East Staffordshire Borough Council.
Outwoods Brewing Co is seeking permission to change the use of a unit at Station Street Business Centre, from light industrial purposes.
The unit, which is currently vacant, was previously used as a wood workshop. One person would be employed at the site if the plans are passed, the application form submitted to the council stated.
