Emergency services at scene of three vehicle crash on A5

Emergency services are in attendance at a three vehicle road crash on the A5 Beltany Road near Omagh[1].

Significant delays are expected in the area with traffic tailbacks reported as far as Newtownstewart.

The crash is believed to have taken place between the Mellon Country Inn and Newtownstewart, with police advising drivers to find an alternative route.

“Police are at the scene of a three-vehicle road traffic collision on Beltany Road in Omagh,” a PSNI[3] statement said.

“There are tailbacks as far as Newtownstewart. As emergency services deal with the collision, drivers are advised to find an alternative route if possible.”
