M25 reopens after crash involving car and lorry
There were delays on the M25 this afternoon (July 22) after a car and a lorry were involved in a crash. The collision happened on the motorway, clockwise, near Godstone[1].
Traffic monitoring system Inrix said all traffic was held at 12.55pm due to the crash. It happened between Junction 5 and 6, with pictures from the motorway cameras showing long delays.
Inrix reports: “Traffic easing, accident cleared on M25 clockwise from J5 M26 to J6 A22 (Godstone). Traffic was held at around 12.55pm for around 5 minutes in order to recover the vehicles involved.”
No injuries have been reported from the scene at this time.
