West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said crews are ‘dealing with a large vehicle fire’ at Lidsey Road, Bognor Regis.
“There is a large amount of smoke on the A29, Shripney Road,” a fire service spokesperson said.
"Please avoid the area and if nearby, keep your doors and windows closed.”

The fire reportedly started from a combine harvester ‘that set a field alight’.
