‘Avoid’ warning as 999 crews close major road after ‘collision’

Emergency services have locked down a major Glasgow road, following a "collision".
999 crews are on the scene of an incident on Nithshill Road, in the Southside.
The road is currently closed Westbound between the junction with Cleeves Road and the junction with Seamill Street.
According to the council's Traffic Control and Management, the closure is due to a "road traffic collision".
In pictures sent to the Glasgow Times, police, ambulance and fire trucks can be seen, blocking the road.

Drivers are advised to seek an alternative route if possible.
