Appeal following fatal A66 crash near Brough | News and Star

The pedestrian, Daniel Stephens, from Middlesbrough, sadly died at the scene (July 7). 

The crash occurred at around 6:10am near the Brough junction. 

Police are appealing for drivers travelling on the A66 between 5:30am and 6:15am on July 7 who may have witnessed or have dash cam of a pedestrian by a white BMW 3 series.

Officers are also specifically looking to speak with a HGV driver who stopped before the incident and may have spoken with the pedestrian. 

Daniel’s family paid tribute to a ‘much-loved son’ who will be ‘forever missed’ last week. [1]
