105mph Kia Rio M6 chase ends on M5 after police deploy stinger
Cops deployed a stinger on the M5 slip road to stop a Kia Rio speeding at 105mph. The small car, which had been reported as stolen, reached the excessively dangerous speed as it was being chased by police.
Officers waited until it got to junction one of the M5 and used the stinger to bring the chase to a safe end. A 25-year-old was arrested and taken into custody.
A large knife and a batch of number plates were retrieved from the stolen car.
Force Response tweeted: "We helped bring a suspect in a stolen car into custody when we stung the car he was driving.
