Woman in hospital with serious injury after crash as police make arrest

A woman is in hospital with a serious back injury after being involved in a two vehicle collision. It happened on Reepham Road in Drayton at 8.14am on Monday, June 12 at the junction with Drewray Drive.

Two cars were involved in the incident; a silver Volvo XC60 and a white Suzuki Swift. A woman in her 60s was taken to hospital with a serious back injury. A man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of drug driving.

The man was taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning but has since been released under investigation.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or the manner of driving of either vehicle.
