Woman dies in Haddiscoe after Vauxhall and HGV crash
A woman has died in Haddiscoe after a Vauxhall and HGV were involved in a crash on Monday (June 19). Police have issued an appeal for witnesses after the fatal collision on A143 Beccles Road.
The incident occurred at 4.11pm close to the junction with Loddon Road. The road was closed whilst emergency services attended the scene including Fire and Ambulance.
The road reopened at 10.40pm. A blue Vauxhall Agila collided with a Scania HGV.
The passenger of the Vauxhall was taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with life-threatening injuries. She has since died as a result of her injuries.
The driver of the Vauxhall was taken to James Paget University Hospital with serious injuries. Officers[2] would like to hear from anyone who has any information regarding the manner of driving prior to the collision or who may have any dashcam footage of the incident.
