UPDATE: Crash between lorry and car closes Highland trunk road

EMERGENCY services are at the scene of a crash between a car and lorry that has closed the A87 in Wester Ross.
The road was shut to all traffic at a location between Kyle of Lochalsh and Balmacara following the collision at around 3.50pm.
Traffic Scotland initially described the crash as a "multi-car incident", but the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and police have both since confirmed that the collision involved a lorry and car.
There was no immediate word as to whether anyone was injured.
A police spokesman said: "Emergency services are at the scene and motorists should avoid the area where possible."
The fire brigade sent several appliances to the scene, including what it described as a heavy rescue unit.
