Two children rushed to hospital after horror crash between car & lorry
TWO children have been rushed to hospital after a horror crash between a car and lorry.
Police[1] were called to the scene at around 3.50pm on Thursday following reports of a serious crash on the A87 in the Highlands.

Two children in the Peugeot[2], aged 10 and six, were taken to Riagmore Hospital in Inverness[3] with minor injuries.
And the 37-year-old driver of the Peugeot car was taken to Glasgow[4]'s Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the lorry, a 49-year-old male sustained minor injuries following the crash.
The A87 was closed for around 10 hours as collision investigators worked at the scene and opened again at 1am this morning.
Enquiries into the incident are still ongoing and police are appealing for information to get in touch with officers.
They are urging anyone who was driving on the stretch of road at the time and witnessed the crash to speak to police.
And police are keen to speak to any drivers who may have witnessed either of the vehicles before hand.

Anyone with dashcam footage is also advised to get in touch with police on 101 and quoting incident 2680 of 1 June 2023.
Sergeant Ally MacKay, from the Dingwall Road Policing Unit, said: “As we work to establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident, we ask anyone who was on that stretch of road and either witnessed the crash or either of the vehicles beforehand to please contact police.
“We are also keen to hear from any motorists who may have potential dashcam footage.
“If you have any information, please contact police on 101, quoting incident 2680 of 1 June, 2023.”
