Traffic chaos in town after lorry crash takes out telegraph pole and …

A crash involving a lorry which saw its trailer detach caused traffic chaos in a town high street this morning.

The incident was in Brandon High Street, with police alerted at 7am.

A police spokesman said a telegraph pole and a lamp post were knocked down.

He said BT and council workers attended for repairs.

Police left the scene at about 9.40am and the road reopened but work was still needed to fix the damage.
