Teenager stabbed in early morning attack at Nuneaton flats

A teenager has been stabbed in an early morning attack inside a flat in Nuneaton[1]. Emergency services rushed to Jodrell Court in Jodrell Street at just before 4am this morning (June 6).

West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS)[2] confirmed to CoventryLive that they found a teenage male with ‘serious injuries’. He was taken to hospital.

It is understood that his condition is stable and he is awaiting surgery. “We were called to reports of a stabbing at a private address off Midland Road in Nuneaton at 3.55am,” WMAS[3] spokesman said.

“An ambulance and a paramedic officer were sent to the scene where, on arrival, crews found a teenage male with serious injuries. He was treated by medics at the scene before being taken to hospital for further treatment.”

Warwickshire[4] Police are investigating the stabbing and a scene guard remains in place around the flats. We have contacted the force for a comment about the incident.
