Teenager hit by lorry on A46 near Ashton under Hill seriously hurt …

The woman, aged 18, was hit by a lorry on the A46 near to Ashton under Hill^[1] at approximately 3.25am this morning (Sunday 11 June).

She was taken to hospital where she is in a stable condition. 

Police have appealed for witnesses.

PC Danny Somner said: “We are looking for any witnesses to the collision to come forward or anyone who was passing through the area this morning who may have dash-cam footage prior to the collision”
