Sniffer dog Ollie busy finding hidden Class A drugs in Gloucestershire

A Gloucestershire Police[1] sniffer dog has been busy catching criminals in the county. PD Ollie has found drugs in cars in Gloucester and Brockworth over the last week.
It was announced today (June 14) that Ollie helped find an amount of Class A drugs hidden in a car in Gloucester[2]. PD Ollie, PC Shields and SC Sharpe helped searched the vehicle alongside the Barton[3] Street policing team.
Glos Neighbourhood Police said on Twitter: "PD Ollie, PC Shields & SC Sharpe assisted the Barton Street team with searching a vehicle for drugs. An amount of Class A drugs were found hidden within the vehicle."
Just last week, PD Ollie was also successful in finding cocaine in a vehicle in Brockworth[5]. One person was arrested for possession and failing a drugs wipe following the discovery.
On that occasion, Gloucestershire Police Dogs Section said: Our traffic officers @GlosPolSpecOps[6] stopped a vehicle in Brockworth. PD Ollie & PC Shields searched it finding cocaine - one arrested for possession & failing a drugs wipe. Excellent nose work Ollie."
