Police appeal for witnesses after fatal crash in Warwickshire …

Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision in Warwickshire[1]. A man in his 70s died after the car he was travelling in came off the B4439 Old Warwick[2] Road between Lapworth and Hockley Heath.

“A car is understood to have left the carriageway and collided with a sign,” A Warwickshire Police[3] spokesperson said. “A man in his 70s, the single occupant of the vehicle, was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.

“His next of kin has been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.” Anyone who witnessed the accident, which happened shortly after 4.15pm on Monday (June 5), or anyone with dashcam footage is asked to call 101.
