Pictures show crashes which closed A14 for hours

Pictures have surfaced after crashes closed the A14 for several hours earlier today.

The route was closed between Stowmarket[1] and Ipswich[2] for much of the morning and into the afternoon after two separate incidents.

Police were alerted[3] to the route at 5:10am after reports a lorry had overturned near Claydon, and more teams were called[4] at 9.54am to the incident at Stowupland, which involved three cars and a lorry.
