Motorcyclist taken to hospital after rush-hour crash on Coventry Ring …

A motorcyclist was taken to hospital following a rush-hour crash in Coventry[1]. It happened earlier today (Friday, June 6) on the Coventry Ring Road[2].
Paramedics were called to the scene of the crash at around 8.15am. Crews found that a motorbike and a car had collided at the junction of the A4053 and the Coventry Ring Road[3].
A man, the motorcyclist, was treated at the scene for minor injuries. He was quickly taken to University Hospital Coventry[4].
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service[6] said: “We were called just before 8.15am to reports of an RTC at the junction of the A4053 and the Ringway in Coventry[7]. An ambulance and paramedic officer were sent to the scene where, on arrival, crews discovered a car and a motorbike had been involved in a collision.
“The motorcyclist, a man, was treated for minor injuries by ambulance staff before being taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire[8] for further treatment. The driver was unharmed.”
