Man who destroyed David Oluwale plaque among those in court in …

A man who watched videos of humans having sex with dogs[1] is among those who have appeared in court[2] in Leeds this week.

Also making an appearance was a man who left his friend seriously injured after he was thrown from an off-road bike he was driving. He avoided a prison sentence for that offence.

A man will also stand trial in October after he admitted destroying a plaque dedicated to David Oluwale, but denied a separate charge of racially aggravated criminal damage.

A variety of hearings - sentencings, trials, further case management and plea, trial and preparation hearings - are held at the courts across Leeds every week and LeedsLive's[3] reporters are on hand to cover those cases.

Christopher Reid

Sick Reid watched videos showing humans having sex with dogs after his "inhibitions were lowered" after he took drugs.

Officers examined his laptop and mobile phone and he was charged with four counts of possessing an extreme pornographic image. A chat log with a person called Lesley where he sent them an image of someone having sex with a dog was also found.

He avoided an immediate prison sentence and instead was handed an 18-month community order and told he must undertake 30 days rehabilitation activity requirement.
