Man rushed to hospital as Glasgow police investigate street attack

A man has been raced to hospital after being attacked in a daylight assault on a busy Glasgow street. Police were called to Nitshill Road[1] at around 3.20pm on Friday June 9.
The man has been rushed to hospital for treatment - the nature of his injuries are not yet known. Officers are believed to be at the scene with enquiries into the assault ongoing.
Reports suggest a cordon has been set up with multiple police vehicles in attendance.
A spokesperson said: "Around 3.20pm on Friday, 9 June, police were called to a report of a man assaulted on Nitshill Road, Glasgow.
"Officers are in attendance and the man has been taken to hospital. Enquiries are ongoing."
