M6 traffic live as crash results in long delays

There were delays of up to 30 minutes on the M6 following a crash. Three lanes of the busy motorway were initially closed in the aftermath of the collision on the southbound carriageway.

Emergency services were called to the scene, between J10a for the M54 and J10 for Walsall[1] /Wolverhampton, at around 11.20am on Monday, June 26. A lorry and two cars were involved in the smash.

West Midlands Ambulance Service said one of the car drivers were checked over by medics. However he had not been injured and was discharged with self-care advice.

Motorists faced four-miles of congestion while the scene was cleared. All lanes had reopened by 1pm.
