Motorists face a nightmare commute into work after separate incidents on one of Sydney's busiest freeways.
A B-double truck jack-knifed on the M5 near the M7 ramp at Prestons on Wednesday morning, which closed three of the four citybound lanes.
The M7 citybound on-ramp to the M5 was also closed.
Two trucks also collided on the M5 approaching Brooks Road at Macquarie Links in a separate incident, causing one of the vehicles to roll over.

All but one southbound lanes were closed as the rolled over truck was righted.
While all lanes have since reopened, both incidents have caused major delays on the M5, where traffic snaked for kilometres.
'All lanes are now clear on the M5 at Prestons following the earlier jack-knifed truck. Northbound traffic remains heavy so continue to allow extra travel time,' a Sydney Traffic alert states.
